The main goal of my build was to show how versatile the Grange Mudroom Kit is. I made sure to use at least one piece from the kit in every room and even outside. This family home is on a 20×20 lot, and because it only uses Base Game items, you can place it in any world you want.
Room by Room Breakdown
- Entryway: This is where the kit really shines. I used almost all the items here to create a welcoming space. The tall storage units are my favorite because they work as both a wardrobe and shelves.
- Living Room: I used the kit’s shelves to create a cool, built-in TV unit. It’s a great way to make the space feel modern and organized.
- Kitchen & Dining: I used some of the kit’s upper cabinets in the kitchen. They fit perfectly with the new Base Game counters. I even made a small utility room with the kit’s storage units for extra appliances.
- Bedrooms: In the main bedroom, I used the kit’s open shelves as bedside tables and the tall wardrobes for a built-in closet. In the kids’ room, I used the kit’s wallpaper to add a fun, consistent look.
- Office: I used the kit’s special wallpaper to give the office a cozy, library feel. The tall storage units were perfect for holding books and decor.
- Backyard: I found the perfect spot for the beautiful rug from the kit! I used it to make the patio area feel more comfortable and relaxing.
