Summer is here, and I’ve been in the mood to build something fun, relaxing, and totally perfect for hot weather gameplay. So I thought, why not create a tiny outdoor bar? And just to keep things extra interesting, I decided to make it Base Game only — no CC, no packs, just pure creativity.
Why Build a Sims 4 Outdoor Bar?
Honestly, there’s something magical about a summer night out in The Sims 4. Whether it’s a romantic evening or a fun hangout, a cozy bar can totally set the mood. I wanted a space where Sims could grab a drink, chill under the palm trees, and enjoy that golden hour desert sunset 🌇.
Picking the Right Location
I built this bar on a small 20×15 lot in Oasis Springs. It gives the perfect warm and dry climate vibe, and the palm trees in the background just scream vacation mode. If you’re going for a summer bar build, this world is a great choice!

How I Designed This Cozy Base Game Bar
🎨 Layout, Seating, and Details
The whole build was inspired by those tiny tropical bars you’d find near beaches or resorts. I used bright lighting, a desert color palette, and a comfy layout. The pergola adds a shaded seating area, and I made sure to decorate with cactus plants and cozy bar stools.
